About the School


The Western Meat School is an innovative learning experience where farmers, ranchers, butchers, & others will learn how to direct market meat.

With in-person class locations in Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico, as well as online access for everybody else, this hybrid course will reach you where you are at.


For start-ups & seasoned producers

This 6 week long course will cover key topics in production, processing, & marketing to produce high-quality meat and sell to diverse market channels. Spread out your risk and generate better profits.
