Absolutely! Although this course is called the Western Meat School, people living in other parts of the country or internationally are welcome to take it. The bulk of our speakers are from western United States and we emphasize the geography of that region in the lectures. Yet most of the content pertains to direct market meat producers nearly anywhere.
Registration will be through Oregon State University Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) website. Registration is now closed. Sign up on the home page to be notified about the next class.
This is a non-credit short course, however a Certificate of Completion will be available if you finish all of the required course content within a 6 month time frame after signing up and write a marketing plan for your business that will be graded.
